Guide On Installing Interior Door

When installing interior door a (not pre-hung) zero inner door, you have to measure the width and height of the opening. The height is smaller as an inner door, in particular a bathroom can leave a space between the bottom of the door and doorway area for ventilation.

When the width is measured, there may be differences in the measurements of the top, middle and bottom. The narrowest extent at least is necessary to take into account the width of the door and approximately ¼ "of the total variance of each side.

Remove the old door hinges and install a piece of each new hinge in the frame. The new door can be cut to desired width with a circular saw. A guide bar can be used to ensure a clean and precise cut.

Take another wedge or two and place on top of the gap and keep the door in place. Just push them until they stop. You may have to push it aside instead of the right; because the distance is only 1 3/8 ". Now do the same on the handle side of the door. Now that the door is exactly where you want it, take a pencil and mark the top and hinge locations bottom of the door. You can also touch the top with a chisel to prime location.

We now describe the locations of the hinges of the door with a "3 ½ meter butt. Press down to highlight the contour and chisel, secure with screws. Place the door in the opening, joining the hinge leaves, and touch the bottom of the rod into the barrel hinges. If a little, just slightly loosen the screws and move the leaves to answer hinges and tighten the hinge screws.

Lock Hole. Install the lock. Now open and close the door, checking immediately without bail. The door must be closed against stops.
